This is how I created your custom Nike Dunks
The Start
It all starts with a clean pair of nike dunks in your size.
I prep the shoes for painting. That means removing the factory finish and taping the sole and other area's where we have to prevent paint from bleeding in.
Then the fun really starts!
First I take the shoes to the spraybooth to airbrush the gradient as a baselayer.
Then I add the details.
The sockline and the tongue are painted.
Then I sketched doodles on the other parts of the shoes.
Of course I also added your catchphrase: Hit the easy button!
When that's done, it's time for tattooing the sketches. Yes I used a real tattoo machine for this.
It's time to show the result!
